A small table called TEMPUS was created thanks to observations of the sundial shapes, which have been known to us since antiquity.
The conical leg of the table is made of 31 circles of marble, symbolizing the years of Ukraine’s independence from Soviet power since 1991. Where the surface of the table is both a dial and a tabletop, and 2022 is a time of rebirth for Ukraine.
The table top is crowned with a gnomon, which is a logical continuation of the conical shape of the table leg and hints at infinity, at the bright future that, we are sure, awaits Ukraine!
The table is made from contrast marble alternating between:
Red Levante and Bianco di Carrara
Verias Green and Bianco di Carrara
Negro Marquino and Bianco di Carrara
